12V socket or 240V. Find a spot with a clear view of the sky, away from trees and roof edges.
Join the wifi. You're online
The wifi name and password are on the card in the box. No accounts to set up. When you're done, drop it at the carrier on your end date.
12V tip: with the engine off, run it from a van house battery or a portable power station. Don't run it overnight off your car's starter battery.

Before you drive
- Steel roofs only (not aluminium, fibreglass or glass)
- Clean, dry roof; mount centred and flat
- Drive to the conditions and slow down on rough or corrugated roads
- Check it before every drive and at stops on rough roads
- Run the cable through a window gap or rear hatch, not pinched in a door seal
- Remove it for car washes, car parks, drive-throughs, low clearances and when parked unattended
- The driver is responsible for the load being secure, and never uses the wifi while driving

Is it hard to set up?
No. It arrives set up and tested. Plug it in, point it at the sky, join the wifi. The wifi name and password are on the card in the box.
Do I need an account?
No. We look after all of that. The wifi details are on the card in the box.
What if it doesn't connect?
Check for a clear view of the sky first: trees and roof edges are the usual cause. Still stuck? Text 0483 900 482. If the kit is faulty, we freight a replacement at no charge and make it right for the days you lost.
What power does it need?
The Mini runs off a 12V car or van socket (lead included) or 240V. With the engine off, use a van house battery or a portable power station. Don't run it overnight off your car's starter battery.
How many people can connect?
Our kits easily handle 30+ users.
How much notice do you need?
At least 3 days before your start date for freight. Heading somewhere remote? We'll confirm your arrival date when you book. Picking up in Dalby? The 3-day minimum doesn't apply.
Do freight days count as hire days?
No. Freight days aren't charged as hire days; you only pay for the days you have the kit. Your hire ends when you drop it at the carrier on your end date.
How much is freight?
A$88 per hire for Mini and Standard kits, covering delivery and return anywhere in Australia. Larger kits are quoted. Picking up in Dalby? No freight charge.
Can I use it while driving?
Passengers can, with the Mag Mount (A$35 per hire) on a steel roof. Follow the "Before you drive" checklist. The driver never uses the wifi while driving.
What about boats?
For boats and charters we recommend our Maritime kit. Call us and we'll set up the right package.
Is there a bond, and when do I get it back?
Yes, A$200 on the Mini and Standard kits. Your A$200 bond is refunded as soon as the kit is returned safely, back to the same card you paid with.
Can I keep it?
Ask about hire-then-buy. We can credit part of your hire towards a kit.
